Ballistic insert BALCS is soft ballistic protection tested according to NIJ level IIIA protection.

Due to its specific shape, BALCS cut ballistic inserts offer a larger protection area than other similar ballistic shape types. According to many users, it offers the best balance between a large protection area and freedom of movement restriction

Our BALCS III-A soft ballistic protection is built and tested to NIJ III-A standards and comes as a set made of 100% aramid material. It is made to fit SPEAR/BALCS and CIRAS mounts.

Each BALCS insert is Sonobonded, which is a sound seal, on a specific fabric that ensures the seal is airtight. This means no debris or water can get in, allowing your insert to last for many years.
